Harry Redknapp has expressed his relief at the transfer window ending, labelling it is ‘a farce’.

Spurs brought in Younes Kaboul and Eidur Gudjohnsen during the window, whilst allowing Alan Hutton, Kyle Naughton and Robbie Keane to all go out on loan deals.

With Stoke boss, Tony Pulis also unimpressed, referring to the January window as “a circus”, Redknapp has offered his criticisms of the system as well.

“The window is a bit of a farce.

“It might give excitement for fans, but for managers, I couldn’t wait for 5pm to arrive. The phone stops ringing and people stop bothering you with players who are no use to you.

“I am pleased it has finished again.”

I think we share Harry’s relief that the window has slammed shut. I, for one, was worried that he might make some more disasterous signings!
