Redknapp hints at no Spurs spending in January

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp insists he is not looking to bring any new players to White Hart Lane when the transfer window opens in January.
Harry normally comes out and says these things in a build-up to a transfer window, but if he’s serious then it’s a bit worrying. It looks as if Roman Pavlyuchenko will leave the club in January and we really need another target man, if Adebayor was to get injured then I wouldn’t have the same confidence in our attack.
“I’m hoping that Michael Dawson comes back,” Redknapp said, speaking to the Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT.
“He’s got this Achilles injury. Hopefully we will get a decision on him this week. He’s going for another scan on that.
“William Gallas is coming back now as well. He did a fantastic job for us last season and, if I get them lads fit, we are OK, it’s not a problem. Other than that I wouldn’t know where to bring anyone else in. We are pretty strong all over the pitch.”

I love it when the media quote Harry as if he were Moses while they ignore the other 90% of what he said, often even in the same sentence
