Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp believes that Juan Mata’s arrival at Chelsea will now end their hunt for Luka Modric.
Chelsea have agreed a deal with Valencia to sign the Spanish midfielder and Spurs boss Redknapp thinks that Chelsea will now end their interest in the Croatian.
“Chelsea have signed him?” Redknapp told talkSPORT.
“I didn’t know that. Well, I would think that’s the end of the Modric deal then, surely.
“I would [think the Mata deal has killed the Modric move]. I had no idea about that.”

Lampard is not in position to play full time for Chelsea any more, we have to say the truth.
AVB, should not rely on lampard if he really want to succeed in chelsea as a coach.
if AVB is really ready to play 4-3-3 formation. then he must sign Luka Modric, so he can play, Luka Modric, Juan mata and Ramires on the midfield, for speedy game., Drogba, torres and lukaku on the attack, then he should play terry, luiz, invanovic and cole on the defence
