Harry Redknapp admits that he has no regrets about selling Darren Bent.

The England international joined Sunderland in the summer and the 21 goal striker is set to face his former club Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

“He has had a terrific season,” Redknapp said. “I thought Darren would score his share of goals.

“But I was OK as I had Jermain Defoe and he has scored goals for us.”
