Redknapp pleased with Pavlyuchenko form

Harry Redknapp feels Roman Pavlyuchenko is back to his best, after the Russian bagged his second brace in a matter of days to help Spurs in the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
Pavlyuchenko had been rewarded for his strikes against Wigan with a start against Bolton in teh fifth round replay and vindicated that decision by grabbing another couple of goals.
Redknapp has often been critical of the strikers attitude in training, but blocked a move away from the club that Pavlyuchenko had desired.
But having been reintroduced into the first team, Pavlyuchenko has impressed and Redknapp feels he may have turned a corner.
“He took his goals well, he is a quality finisher and he has proven that again tonight,” Redknapp said after the match.
“Last week he was excellent in training, he was the best player in everything we did, he looked like he wanted to play.
“Nobody wants to see him do well more than me; it makes my job a lot easier.
“He is a very nice lad, but he is laid back and some days he needs a rocket. He’s playing like he’s had a rocket.
“He’s in the team now, his confidence should be high and it is up to him to play well. He is bang in form and I wouldn’t see myself leaving him out of the team at the weekend.”

Crouch just don’t offer us much IMO, NO Goal threat; NOT very good at holding up the ball; TO weak in the air & he his footwork even confuses him as well as me!
I think Crouch would be better as an impact Sub, if we needed summit different in a game.
And I’m not on the band wagon either, as along with Arshavin, when there was talk of bringing the two of them to the lane I was excited after witnessing them in the Euro’s, Arshavin has proved himself with the Arse, now it’s Super Pav time, lets get behind both him & the team & get into that TOP4
