Redknapp reveals player is close to Spurs switch

Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are close to signing Croatian goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa.
Spurs already have Carlo Cudicini and Heurelho Gomes on their goalkeeping ranks at White Hart Lane, but Redknapp wants to add a fresh challenge to the duo.
Pletikosa was close to joining Tottenham last summer before suffering a knee injury.
He told croatiansoccerreport.com, “I might be taking another goalkeeper from Croatia – Pletikosa. There is every chance I might be getting him so that’s good.”
