News | admin | August 28, 2010 at 7:36 pm

Harry Redknapp admitted that Tottenham missed Luka Modric in the 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic.

The performance of the players was far below the standard which we expect at White Hart Lane and missed the influental littlr Croatian in the middle of the park.

He said: “We lacked the guile to break them down.”

“You miss Modric in these games.

“When the games are tight, he takes the ball for you.”

Harry has said we was missing Modric today, do be serious Harry, we were playing Wigan not a top six side. If we cant beat Wigan on our own turf we may as well forget the champions league, we should of been able to of put out a second side today, given our first team a break after the Young Boys game and still won easily, that shambles today doesnt deserve to play in Europe!

Does anyone think its a coincidence that in the one nil defeats to Stoke, Wolves (twice), and now Wigan that Modric missed two of them and only played less than a third of the game in the other two. Wake up. Of course we seriously missed Modric.
