Reports link Spurs with £6million defender bid

The season may have only just finished but the transfer rumour mill is in full flow.
The Sunday Mirror are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur will launch a £6million bid for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
Richards, 21, has fallen out of favour at Eastlands and has not been named in Fabio Capello’s provisional 30-man squad for the World Cup. Two years ago, Richards was seen as potentially the best young defender in the country.
He has three years to run on his existing deal and the Sunday Mirror is claiming that sources close to the player admit that his career has reached a crossroads.

I can see Woodgate leaving for another club if his leg hasn't fallen off this summer. Cracking player to have in the trenches but he's no use when he's always under anaesthetic. He makes Darren Anderton look durable!
