Sandro set to make Tottenham debut against Arsenal

Sandro could bet set to make his Tottenham Hotspur debut in Tuesday’s Carling Cup tie against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

The Brazilian joined Spurs in March, but has only recently made the switch to London after helping his former club Internacional to Copa Libertadores glory.

“He’s fine. He’s a great lad and he has settled in well. He played well in the game and I will look to get him involved,” Redknapp told Sky Sports News.

“Certainly on Tuesday against Arsenal there is every chance he will play and make his debut.

“We have been pleased with what we have seen so far.”

“We will look at him and assess how he is going but there is no reason why he shouldn’t do,” continued Redknapp.

“He’s a good player. He’s in the Brazilian national squad, he was away training with them in Barcelona last week so you can’t be a bad player if you are getting into the Brazilian squad.”

“He’s an aggressive, strong player. He gets around the pitch, he’s a big lad and a really good competitor so the English game will suit him fine,” added Harry.
