Schalke coach Felix Magath is confident that Raul will join the German club.
Raul is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer and has been linked with both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
“Raul has shown in every moment his interest in signing for our team and we believe he will arrive, be it in days or weeks,” Magath said in quotes published by Marca.
“We are aware that the Real Madrid striker is receiving other offers, but we also know he is turning them down,” he added.
“I am convinced Raul will end up playing for Schalke 04 next season.”
