Harry Redknapp has defended Ledley King after the Spurs skipper was pictured coming out of a nightclub looking like he had fallen asleep.
He said: “It was only one picture, and only Ledley who looks like he’s fallen asleep.
“They came to me and said they wanted to go out for dinner. Rafa [van der Vaart] and the new lads said they wanted to go out.
“I said as long as there no problems it was okay and apparently there’s been no problem.”
Redknapp is not a fan of players going out drinking but he added: “You can always get pictrues of people with their eyes closed.

Of course they did.
Judging by some of his more amusing lies, I reckon Harry has a pretty low opinion of people’s intelligence.
The players can let their hair down without it getting out of control.
Most of those pictured are injured and Bale and Modric prefer a shandy to a drink anyway so there will be no impact on the pitch.
