I think it’s worth losing modric, and getting in these signings like diara and going for the 4-2-3-1. Think Gomes/Friedel, Walker Dawson Cahil/Samba BAE, Sandro(when fit) Diarra, Bale VDV Lennon/Ruiz, Adebayor/other europien striker. Think we’d be much more successful in that case!

i really think that the 4-2-3-1 formation will be good. Maybe Pav can be the 1. Then vdv can free roam. We can try that in Europa

Yes, and I say if, we could get Samba or Cahil, and also Diarra or Ruiz I would say it’s a great deal, but please don’t fly.

As a Chelsea supporter who used to watch Diarra during Mourinho's reign, I've also followed his performances closely over the following seasons to see if it was a mistake to allow him to leave.
My conclusion is that he is the defensive equivalent of Salomon Kalou – nippy and a good backup who can fill in for better players, but who is not worthy of a regular place at the top clubs.
Not being a Spurs supporter, I'd be delighted if they bought Diarra and accepted Kalou in part exchange for Modric. But of course, if I was a Spurs supporter, I'd be horrified. Both players are better matched to clubs like Fulham or QPR.

I agree, nothing special about Diarra he's just average ,nothing more! Not worth selling a class player like Modric for,it makes no sense! Is it worth selling Modric in return for say maybe 3 AVERAGE players? I think not! It would be a big step backwards…..Quality not quantity………..please ?
