Tottenham have joined Chelsea, Manchester City and AC Milan in the race to sign Sevilla’s Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano, who is rated at £20m.
Fabiano is being tipped to leave Sevilla this summer after the World Cup, but the Spanish side are keen to hold onto the 29-year-old and have offered him an improved deal.
“Sevilla have offered Luis a new contract but that means nothing. He is at the World Cup and everything will be discussed after that,” said his agent Luis Fuentes.
“I should warn all European clubs that he will expect wages on the same level as a player like Didier Drogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”
Fabiano, who is currently taking English lessons has scored 62 goals in 127 games for Sevilla.

I have heard Tottenham Hotspur made an inquiry about me but, with all respect, that is not somewhere I am going to be able to win the Premier League or the European Cup in the next three or four years.

"There would be no point in me joining Tottenham. I might as well stay at Sevilla, as it's the same thing. Sevilla are actually bigger when you look at how much we have been in the European Cup, so there would be no point me moving to a smaller team.
