Tottenham are being linked with a move for Wigan left-back, Maynor Figueroa in January.

Figueroa has impressed on teh left hand side of the Wigan defence and has apparently caught the eye of Harry Redknapp.

However, Redknapp has been told he must sell before he buys and is expected to finance a £6million for the Honduran by flogging Gareth Bale.

Bale has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Spurs, having suffered a string of injuries since joining from Southampton.

Nottingham Forest have made their interest very clear, whilst rumours have also linked the Welshman to Italian giants, AC Milan and Juventus.
