Spurs linked with Green bid

Spurs are reportedly weighing up a £7.5million bid for West Ham goalkeeper, Robert Green.
Green is likely to hold a position in Fabio Capello’s England squad for the World Cup and is seen by Redknapp as a long-term replacement for Heurelho Gomes, who expressed a desire to return to Holland once his contract expires in two years time.
West Ham have had widely reported financial problems and would be willing to let Green go for such a price.
Redknapp still maintains faith in Gomes however, with the Brazilian likely to remain number one regardless, as he has been impressed by the improvements he has made under goalkeeping coach, Tony Parks
Another ‘keeper still linked with Tottenham is Ben Foster, whose future at Manchester United looks uncertain.
