Tottenham have been linked with a move for Sergio Asenjo of Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish stopper joined Atletico for £4.5million last summer, but has recently lost his place to David De Gea.
Redknapp is reported to want the 20-year-old to provide back up for Heurelho Gomes.
Asenjo would cost in the region of £5million to bring the Spanish Under-21 to White Hart Lane, although Barcelona are also rumoured to be interested.
Should this deal fall apart, Spurs are also monitoring Kasper Schmeichel, currently at Notts County.
The Danish son of Peter would cost around £2million to take from the financially crippled League Two side, with competition being provided by Blackburn and Birmingham City.
