The newspapers are once again full of speculation linking us with a move for Ashley Young.
The England winger is apparently ready to review his future at Aston Villa after their Europa League exit at the hands of Rapid Vienna on Thursday.
Spurs have been long-term admirers of the 25-year-old, even since he was still playing for Watford – the problem however is that he is now valued at around £25million, although this fee could be lowered by offering the likes of Robbie Keane in exchange.
Young earns £65,000-a-week at Villa, which falls within Tottenham’s wage structure. The Daily Mirror claim that Villa officials are expecting an official bid from Spurs in the next 24 hours.
