Spurs to offer trio to sign Young?

Tottenham are reportedly planning to offer three players to Aston Villa in order to land Ashley Young.
The Daily Mail has surmised that Redknapp will send Jermaine Jenas, Robbie Keane and David Bentley to Villa Park in order to bring Young the other way.
Young is valued at £30million by his current employers and Spurs feel that the attacking trio would be ample persuasion without having to part with any extra money.
Villa boss, Martin O’Neill is known to be an admirer of all three players, so could be tempted to lose one player in order to gain the signatures of three international players, as he bids to improve on Villa’s sixth placed finish last season.
Such a move hardly seems necessary for Spurs though, as Young’s position on the left side of midfield is already occupied by Niko Kranjcar, with Luka Modric a viable option to play on the wing as well.
There is also the argument over Gareth Bale’s best position, as he excelled in a midfield role at the end of last season, scoring goals against both Arsenal and Chelsea from that position.

Where was Young when the wheels fell off Villa's season?. As for Keane, well by all means sell him to Villa, but Jenas should be retained until we can get in an adequate replacement, but all three, unless we're in severe financial difficulties and need to get these three off our payroll, then it really doesn't make any sense whatsoever!
