I’ve just seen the team sheet. Palacios isn’t in team or the bench! I really hope he isn’t injured for the start of the season. He’s such a key player for us!

Bassong has played within himself as the oppo showed very little desire to go forward. He’s got a good turn of speed and whenever he’s been sloppy he’s redeemed himself well.

3-0 to Spurs, Defoe wriggled between two big centre halves and drilled a right foot shot low into the bottom left hand corner.
Modric’s has been taken off with a foot injury just 15 mins after coming on.
do we still need another box 2 box midfielder to give jj some competition?

I think we are trying to mould Jake Livermore into that role. We need a pacy left winger – then balance of the squad will be complete. We already have too many Centre-Mids.
Is Palacios on international duty. Got a big fight that he was not in the squad for today’s friendly.

Does anyone think KPB might still have a part to play?
KPB still looks clumsy and its difficult to see what he brings to a team. Chimbo also looks like one who is only playing so that Spurs can put him in the shop window.
