The Black Cats are ready to offer around £6million for Bentley, and £4million for O’Hara, who has been impressive during his loan spell at Portsmouth this season.

Another Spurs player who could be making the move north permanently is Alan Hutton, the defender has been on loan at the Stadium of Light since January.  Bruce has already expresssed an interest in signing the Scottish full-back on a permanent deal and is available at £4million.

Hutton and O'Hara worth the same money? Laughable. Bentley for 6mil, laughable. Old Steve has a good sense of humour, I'll say that for him.

    1) not gonna happen, like are you kidding me?
    2) bentley alone is worth at least 10 million, let alone o hara as well. Sunderland you stupid

  5. Stratty says:

Bentley is still worth 15million. Its not his fault he's in the same team as Aaron Lennon.

We should keep hold of bently and ohara these are spurs men through and through and the pair of them have worked hard this season. Selling them would be a mistake. BOTH players have a place in spurs i think harry has been very wise in his methods. Giving ohara to a club where he has opportunity to shine, and teaching bently what it means to be a team player and actually earn his spurs.
When you think of the quality of players manu can bring off the bench, it makes you look at the spurs bench and rethink opinions of players. Yes we have lennon but as this season has shown us 1st team players get injured and this season we have actually dealt with injuries quite well.

  8. Come on (most of you posting here), it was in the News Of The World! It's not Sunderland or Steve Bruce who have made actual bids for these players for those amounts. I think this website have posted this article for us to have a laugh at the sort of thing that NOTW come up with. The jokes are often lost on people though .

  11. Dan says:

Try doubling the 6 million and then we’ll talk……maybe!

  12. COOLGUY says:

Liverepool won 3-0… bentley will only leave for 35 million now!

  13. Paxton Road says:

No chance, Bentley is now showing the form that we bought him for, why not have Jenas instead ?

  14. Donald says:

I wouldn't let Bentley or O'Hara leave, I'd value Bentley at £13m and O'Hara at £6.5m anyway. Sunderland can keep Hutton for £6-7m.

  15. superpav says:

    Bentley + O'Hara? 25 Million!
