Sunderland are trying to bring in Tottenham full-back DeAndre Yedlin on loan before the transfer window closes at 6pm this evening.
The American has been the subject of interest from a host of clubs across Europe including those in clubs in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark and Turkey but none have been suitable for both Spurs and the player.
Sunderland have now decided to move for Yedlin who finds himself behind Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier in the pecking order at White Hart Lane. Danny Rose had a successful loan spell at the Stadium of Light which made him a better player, let’s hope the same can be said of Yedlin.
