Tottenham Hotspur are all set to land Swiss goalkeeper, Eldin Jakupovic in January.
The Bosnian-born Swiss international has arrived at White Hart Lane to thrash out a contract and is expected to join on loan, with a view to a £1million deal.
Spurs have been looking for a ‘keeper to provide Heurelho Gomes with competition after Carlo Cudicini was injured in a motorbike accident in November.
The 6ft 4in ‘keeper has had a big falling out with current club Lokomotiv Moscow and wants to join Spurs in order to boost his hopes of being part of Switzerland’s World Cup squad.
He spent a spell on loan at Grasshopper Zurich recently, but is back with the Russian outfit and angling to leave again.
He will signal a relatively cheap signing, as Daniel levy has decided to tighten the purse strings in terms of January outlay.
Scott Loach has also been touted as a potential signing.
