“The Tottenham thing didn’t happen for a reason”

David Beckham has ruled out a return to the Premier League with any club other than Man Utd.

The LA Galaxy midfielder trained with Spurs last season and nearly joined on loan.

Beckham said: “I have always said I have played for the biggest club in England and I wouldn’t like to play against them (United).

“I am 36 and still feel good and fresh but I can’t see it happening.

“The Tottenham thing didn’t happen for a reason. I only want to be known as a Manchester United player and that’s the way it will stay.”

    Not sure how true this ‘article’ is but if it is, then what a way to stick 2 fingers up at the people who brought you through the youth ranks at Spurs! :o P
