Two of Tottenham’s brightest talents sign new deals

News | admin | July 4, 2011 at 7:01 pm

Danny Rose and Kyle Walker have signed contract extensions with Tottenham.

The England Under-21 internationals are arguably two of our brightest prospects so it’s great news that Rose has penned a deal until 2015 and Walker until 2016.

Rose won his place in the hearts of Spurs fans by scoring a stunning volley against Arsenal in April 2010.  He spent time on loan at Bristol City last season before returning to Spurs and playing the final four games of the season at left-back.

Walker who has been nicknamed the new ‘Roberto Carlos’ had loan spells at QPR and Aston Villa – he is expected to become Harry Redknapp’s first choice right-back this season ahead of Vedran Corluka and Alan Hutton.

Spurs fans will be hoping to see both youngsters get plenty of football under their belt at the Lane this season.

Good to have Walker-Lennon, Rose-Bale combination. And Sandro protecting the back 4. Feel also that Friedel is a good enough replacement. Now we need the 20-goal striker that we always crave for
