Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that he wants to stay at Tottenham Hotspur for a long time.
The Dutch midfielder only joined from Real Madrid on the last day of the transfer window and has already scored five goals this season.
“When you see the squad, nobody wants to leave and that’s saying a lot about this club,” Van der Vaart told the Daily Star.
“I want to stay at Tottenham. I’m here for the long run.
“I want to make this a really big club and I hope I can win something. I think it’s possible – that’s why I’m here.”
