Rafael van der Vaart - Tottenham news

Rafael van der Vaart could hand Tottenham Hotspur a massive injury boost ahead of Tuesday night’s game against Inter Milan.

The Dutch midfielder suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Manchester United and Harry Redknapp had hinted that he could be without the former Real Madrid man for the Champions League clash at White Hart Lane.

van der Vaart trained with his Spurs team mates on Monday and looked to be moving freely.

This makes me happy and suspicious the reason we had three players linked with Man utd before we played them one never played and the other one never played to his high standard the other one came off at half time when he was our most productive player. This worrys me because Carrick and Berbatov never scored or played well against Utd being a Spurs fan and Utd past makes you paranoid . Now we have City Madrid Inter Man UTD all eying our players and all of them except City are in Dept its about time Levey sold the Club to rich Arabs while we are in good shape on and off the field we can then attract real buyers and not sharks

And become as loathed and hated as Man City & Chelsea? I think Joe Lewis and Levy have done pretty well for us. Money doesn't buy you success or love.

He wouldn’t be a true Spurs player if not injured for most fixtures…lol

What are you on Davspurs. If the players wanted to go to united they would play extra hard in those games. They would not go easy.

Davspurs you are a legend mate, but there is not a consiracy everywhere you go. You crack me up mate.

    lol

On hindsight,HR should have substituted VDV around the 60 min or so as he obviously looked tired & the need for him for Inter would be important which should not have been risked by any injury to the tired legs.
