Walker set to make Spurs return

Kyle Walker is in line to make his first appearance in nine months when Tottenham take on Besiktas – a Europa League match Emmanuel Adebayor will miss due to personal reasons.

England right-back Walker has not featured for Spurs since March 13 due to an abdominal injury but, having returned to training a month ago, is part of the squad in Turkey.

Adebayor is one of those absent for the Group C match, having been allowed to return to Togo due to a private matter, while Harry Kane, Ryan Mason, Kyle Naughton, Nabil Bentaleb and Christian Eriksen have been rested.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Vorm, McGee, Walker, Dier, Rose, Davies, Fazio, Kaboul, Chiriches, Stambouli, Dembele, Paulinho, Capoue, Onomah, Winks, Lamela, Chadli, Lennon, Townsend, Soldado.
