Must Watch Spurs parody – Song For Whoever (Spurs Tried To Sign)

The transfer window is now well and truly open, and Spurs fans are once again lamenting all the signings that they so nearly bought, but never quite did because their chairman Daniel Levy wouldn’t spend the required money.

Tottenham fan channel Spurred On and musical comedy band SDSS have created a parody of The Beautiful South’s ‘Song For Whoever’ called ‘Song For Whoever (Spurs Tried To Sign) – an emotional ode to all the players the press claimed nearly came to White Hart Lane, but ended up signing for more money elsewhere.

In the video, which is a definite homage to boyband videos of the 90’s and early 00’s, SDSS act like grieving ex-boyfriends to the players Spurs tried to sign including Andrea Pirlo, Rivaldo, Fabio Coentrao and of course Willian, who, as the lyrics of the song reflect ended up “f**cking off to Chelsea.”
