Mick McCarthy admits that Wolves would be interested in Robbie Keane, but admits it’s unlikely that the Spurs striker would want to battle against relegation.
The Republic of Ireland striker is out of favour at White Hart Lane and is expected to leave the club in January.
Keane last played for Wolves 11 years ago as a teenager.
“Robbie is a fabulous player,” McCarthy said.
“But would he want to come to us? Can we afford the deal? Is it attractive?
“Robbie has been a top player and whether a relegation scrap at Wolves is something he would fancy, I just don’t know.”
