Woodgate and Dawson feature in friendly win

Jonathan Woodgate played a full 90 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur in an arranged friendly with Dagenham & Redbridge.
Woodgate partnered Michael Dawson in the heart of the Spurs defence and helped the side to a 3-0 win.
Roman Pavlyuchenko scored twice, with Dean Parrett scoring the other. Alan Hutton, David Bentley, John Bostock and Kyle Naughton also featured in the game at the training ground.
Development coach Clive Allen told the club’s official site: “It was an excellent match for us and another training ground game that we’ve got a lot out of.
“We’ve players returning from injury including Jonathan Woodgate playing 90 minutes and the chance for some of the youth loan players to come in and play, that’s part of their youth loan agreements and that has worked well for us.
“Dagenham made it difficult for us, we had to solve problems and the most important thing is that the players have had the right sort of work out and we’ve got the right result at the end of it.”
