Woody battles back from career threat

Harry Redknapp has expressed his delight at the fact that Jonathan Woodgate could finally be over his injury hell.

There had been fears that Woody’s career could have been coming to an end after long-term injuries.

“It’s fantastic for him,” Redknapp said.

“It’s the first time in 18 months or so that there’s been a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for him.”

Asked on whether Woodgate could play again this term, he added: “He could do if he keeps progressing.”

    Wasn't a tackle injury was groin problem so should be fine in the heart next to Daws.
