MATCH GALLERY: West Ham 0-1 Tottenham

The sprit of Paul Stalteri and Gareth Bale lives on! Debutant Eric Dier popped up in the most unexpected of places to give Tottenham a late win at West Ham United to put pay to their DVD and t-shirt combo plans for another season.

It all could have been so different when Kyle Naughton was harshly sent off in the first half for handball, some justice was done when Mark Noble failed to score for West Ham from the penalty spot.

Dier will get all the headlines, but praise must be given to goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for an absolutely fantastic save just moments before to keep the scores level – the best keeper in the league by far.
