The £100m Man

Mark Noble has hailed Tottenham’s Harry Kane, saying our goal scoring machine is worth more than £100m.

Kane’s double in Saturday’s early kick off brought his tally to 6 goals in 7 games in all competitions for the Walthamstow born man, despite that well publicised barren August.

With Neymar setting PSG back an eye watering £198m Noble is holding Harry in very high esteem. Noble found himself on the wrong side of Moussa Sissoko during the match for a dirty challenge which could have easily been red. The Tottenham midfielder who has failed to win over the Spurs faithful since his £30million switch from Newcastle did gain some respect for the way he squared up to him.

According to The Mail, the Hammer’s captain said of Harry “He easily has to be worth £100m plus because he gets goals and goals in this game are hard to come by and you pay a premium for that”

Noble went on to say “You can spend like they did when they sold Gareth Bale-they went and spent £120m but you bring Harry Kane back to the club, give him a chance and (Mauricio) Pochettino puts his arm around him and he’s reaping the benefits of that now”

Noble added “it’s not often you get a talent like Harry come through the ranks and score like he does, they have kept him too and if he keeps on playing like that they are going to have to be strong to keep him”

High praise indeed from Noble for Harry.

Our victory at the Queen Elizabeth Park Stadium leaves us fourth in the Premier League. We’ve had one defeat (to Chelsea) in our opening six matches but the two Manchester clubs are setting the pace as we trail them by 5 points.
