£100m price tag for Spurs target

Fulham are demanding an incredible £100million fee if they sell Ryan Sessegnon this summer, according to The Sun.

The youngster only made his first-team debut at Craven Cottage last season but is already being linked with a high-profile move to the Premier League after an incredible season in the Championship,

We have been strongly linked as have Manchester United, with both clubs looking to strengthen their left-sided options in the summer transfer window.

The article adds that United boss Jose Mourinho is believed to be an admirer of Sessegnon, who was recently named the Championship Player of the Year, viewing him as a potential replacement for Luke Shaw.

Shaw joined the Red Devils for £30million in 2014 but he has failed to win over Mourinho and has been linked with a move to Spurs possibly in part exchange with Danny Rose.

We are keeping tabs on Sessegnon’s situation but the article in The Sun say Fulham will look to attract a record £100m to sell the 17-year-old this summer.

The cottagers could still secure promotion to the Premier League – they lost the first leg of their play-off semi-final to Derby on Friday and the article claims that while Fulham’s valuation would certainly end Tottenham’s interest in Sessegnon, Mourinho could be tempted as he bids to solve a problem area in his squad.

Slavisa Jokanovic, Fulham manager insisted Sessegnon’s future at the club was not dependent on whether his team get promoted to the top-flight.”I don’t believe it,’:he said. ‘I’m asked many times this question and right now I’m focused on our present – this is more important.
