Chelsea want Pochettino

According to talkSPORT Antonio Conte has admitted he may not be Chelsea head coach next season if his side fail to qualify for the Champions League, and they say the Stamford Bridge club have already identified their number one target to replace the Italian.

The Sun are reporting that the Blues want Mauricio Pochettino to take charge in West London, with Chelsea’s billionaire owner Roman Abramovich extremely impressed by the Argentines work at Tottenham.

Daniel Levy is of course expected to block any approach from Chelsea – or any club – for the highly rated Pochettino, who will today become the longest-serving Tottenham coach in terms of Premier League games managed.

However it does look that Conte’s time at Chelsea is done and if does indeed depart this summer, it is expected Abramovich and his board of advisors make a tentative approach for Pochettino to discover if there is any chance of tempting him away from north London.

Pochettino is seemingly commited to Spurs and takes his team to Stamford Bridge today hoping to guide Spurs to a first victory at the stadium since 1990 and all this is just rumour. Do you guys think that Pochettino might be tempted to swap us for them? Let us know your thoughts
