According to the Daily Star reports in Spain say Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is plotting a shock £200m bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane

Report on the England international, who has been in stunning form for us this season, are par for the course as he heads toward his third consecutive Premier League golden boot.

It’s no secret that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a huge fan of Kane and he has been linked on a daily basis with a summer move for our talisman as he prepares the La Liga giants for a huge makeover.

It adds that Kane has previously been adamant that he is committed to Spurs and intends to stay for the entirety of his career and Mauricio Pochettino will not want to lose his star forward as we prepare for life in our brand new stadium.

But now according to Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, runaway league leaders City are prepared to test Daniel Levy’s resolve.

It goes on to say that Guardiola is a long-term admirer of the 24-year-old and sees him as the missing piece of the jigsaw in his star-studded attacking line-up adding that Sergio Aguero has been linked with a move back to Atletico Madrid and City may be tempted to cash in on the Argentine to fund a move for Kane.

Diario Gol report that a £200m bid is being readied and Kane may be attracted by the allure of winning trophies.

Spurs will not sanction any deal with the club adamant our star striker is going nowhere – even if a world-record bid is lodged for the England international adding that Tottenham want Kane and the rest of their top talent on board as we prepare to return to the rebuilt White Hart Lane for next season.
