VIDEO: Moyes disappointed not to win

Manchester United manager David Moyes admitted that he was disappointed that his side were unable to beat Tottenham on Sunday.

The sides played out a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane. Tottenham went ahead both times and gifted United a route back into the game when Kyle Walker, who had put us ahead in the first half, allowed Wayne Rooney to level the score going into half time.

United’s second goal was also a gift, courtesy of referee Mike Dean who claimed Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris had fouled Danny Welbeck. How Moyes can be disappointed and think his side should have won is slightly baffling.

Moyes told the press: “Yeah, I just said that we had a great win in midweek and if we could have come away from here…but for a minute at Cardiff near the end you would have been saying ‘Manchester United have had a really good week. It is not an easy place to come Tottenham. They had their own pride which they showed today in their performance. So, it is disappointing you know. United have to win and that is why that in the end we were still trying to find a way to get a third goal if we could do. But, we couldn’t quite get it.”
