It may define us – 7 games in 24 days coming up…

So, if like me the international breaks kind of just get in the way of the domestic season, you’ll be happy to know that there’s A LOT of football coming Spurs’ way in the next three and a half weeks…

Premier League
Sun 20th Sept Villa (A)
Sun 27th Sept Hull (H)
Sun 3rd Nov Everton (A)
Sun 10th Nov Newcastle (H)

Europa League
Thurs 24th Sept Sheriff (A)
Thurs 7th Nov Sheriff (H)

Capital One Cup
Wed 30th Sept Hull (H)

So much football in fact that I think it will be crucial as to how we do. After this there is a fortnight break and then we’re in the run-up to the Christmas calendar. How important will it be to get maximum points and really build some momentum? I think it’ll be crucial…

So how do we think we’ll do? I think Europa League and Capital One Cup will give AVB some time to rotate the squad and that should allow us to go at the league with some serious intent. I think 7-9 points from those games is where we should be aiming – but this is Spurs right? Things can go a little sideways sometimes.

So how do you think we’ll do? Do we really feel we need all 12? Maybe just to go unbeaten in all games would be an achievement in itself? Is it the manner in which we play which will tell us most about what’s in store for Spurs this season?

I’d love to hear your views in the comments section below on what should be a defining period for how this season plays out…
