Former Spurs hero could be set for sensational return

According to The Express Luka Modric could be set for a sensational return to Tottenham with reports claiming the Croatia international could be on his way out of Real Madrid.

Los Blancos signed Modric from back in 2012, with the Croatia international rejecting Manchester United to move to the Bernabeu, and the veteran initially struggled to make an impact but fast forward six years and Modric has won every major trophy available to him.

The article goes on to say that Tottenham know more is required if they are to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season and Spanish outlet Don Balon claim Mauricio Pochettino has earmarked Real Madrid veteran Modric as a priority target.

  1. I hated the way he left, but wouldn’t be against seeing him come back now as I think he is wkat we need.
    That said it’s the Express and they seem to have junk articles generally which I neve click on
    Shame that so many do and the Newsnow ‘top stories’ are usually the stuff which should be avoided.
