Four Serie A clubs battle for Spurs midfielder

Spurs are facing a battle to hold on to Mousa Dembele with a four way Serie A battle for his according to Sky in Italy.

The Belgian played 40 times for Spurs last season and he has emerged as a transfer target for the four Italian clubs.

It is believed that both Milan clubs are keeping tabs on him in the past, and now Juve and Napoli in the hunt for him.

He has been a regular in the Spurs side under Mauricio Pochettino, however he does not appear in the Argentine’s long-term plans, with Lorient youngster Matteo Guendouzi among those understood to be on Pochettino’s radar.

The article goes on to describe how the 30-year-old left AZ Alkmaar for Fulham in a £5m deal in August 2010, making 74 appearances during his spell at Craven Cottage, with a £15m move to White Hart Lane duly followed two years later but it remains to be seen whether he continues to work under Pochettino.
