The 27-year-old has been capped twice by Italy and is also said to be attracting interest from Juventus and Fiorentina, but according to the report is keen on a switch to the Premier League.
Apparently, Palermo are aware of the interest from Tottenham and are expecting to receive a bid in the coming days. .
Vasquez scored eight goals and contributed with six assists in Serie A for Palermo last season.
