The Tottenham players were back on the training pitch at Hotspur Way today less than 24 hours after their embarrassing Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest.
Despite Antonio Conte claiming in his post-match press conference that his players are losing a lot of physical and mental energy due to the amount of games they have been playing in the build-up to the World Cup, there was no rest given after they ended any hopes of a run in the League Cup (Football.London).
Tottenham must now dust themselves off on focus on the visit of Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday as they look to maintain their place in the top four ahead of the season being put on hold for the tournament in Qatar.
