Hugo positive about what 2018 may bring

Club Captain Hugo Lloris is feeling positive as we step into 2018 according to an article on the club website.

The article describes how our 2018 starts with a bang wiu three games in five days starting with a trip to Swansea in the Premier League on Tuesday (7.45pm). We then welcome West Ham to Wembley on Thursday (8pm) before kicking-off our FA Cup campaign against AFC Wimbledon back at Wembley on Sunday (3pm).

The article adds that we head to the Liberty Stadium on the back of four wins in five and Hugo is in a good frame of mind heading into what could be pivotal in our chase for a Top 4 finish; “I feel very positive,” said the skipper.
“This team has character. We’ve showed it already in the past and we are showing it at the moment.
“We are looking forward first to Swansea and then West Ham. The important thing now is to keep on winning and to keep the confidence high inside our minds.

Hugo added: “It was so important to continue our momentum against Southampton (a 5-2 win on Boxing Day) after playing so well at Burnley (a 3-0 win on December 23).It was a great performance against Southampton for the first 60 minutes, really high quality, so congratulations to the team and one more congratulations to Harry Kane, it was a fantastic year for him.

Hugo added: “Now we have to be ready to start again with a busy week but as I said, we’re confident and looking forward to it.”
