According to talkSPORT Inter Milan are working on a deal for to bring Erik Lamela back to Italy.

Lamela has worked his way back into Maurico Pochettino’s plans after spending a year out injured but the 26-year-old, according to Tuttosport, is now a target for Inter and they are working on a deal for him.

The Nerazzuri want to sign a winger in the summer and they have earmarked Lamela as the man they want and the Argentine of course has experience of playing in Italy after spending two years at Roma, where he scored 15 goals in his final season.

The article adds that Lamela is reportedly open to playing in Serie A again, but Spurs are reluctant to let him go.

So if the money wasn’t right would you let Lamela go? He’s played well but when the team is injury free his place isn’t assured and it has been made more complicated by the arrival of Lucas Moura. Let us know your thoughts

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. For the right money let him go doesn’t do enough to warrent 1st team place regularly

    Better alternatives out there

  2. Every time he tries to kick it around the box he falls over backwards. If we can get half the money we paid for him we should snap it up.

  3. He seems to try really hard and is always up for a battle but sadly lacks composure, confidence and, worryingly, balance

  4. I am sure we will get our money back and maybe show a profit. He has been very much better this season than his early games, but not enough to keep him if the right offer comes in.
But we really really need to get rid of Sissoko! An athlete, but not a footballer.
