Is Bale set for sensational Spurs return

According to The Express Gareth Bale has reached an agreement with Tottenham about a sensational return.

Real Madrid star Bale is on the radars of both Manchester United and Tottenham with his Bernabeu career starting to sizzle out and the Wales international is expected to be benched for Los Blancos’ Champions League final showdown with Liverpool on May 26th

Real Madrid coughed up £86million to lure him away from Tottenham five years ago and he has scooped silverware galore and now Spanish outlet Don Balon say Bale is aware his days in Madrid are numbered – and he has already agreed a stunning return to Tottenham despite reports always claiming United are in pole position to sign the player.

The article goes on to say Jose Mourinho’s decision to lure Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal in January has seen their interest cool and Tottenham, meanwhile, move into a new stadium next season and want to mark the occasion by securing a blockbuster signing with former White Hart Lane hero Bale would fitting the bill, having shone for the north London giants earlier in his career.

Don Balon do say however that Tottenham still have some way to go before securing Bale’s return.
It is said Real want to include the player in a deal for Harry Kane something Spurs will be loathe to do.

The article adds that earlier in the season Mauricio Pochettino opened the door for Bale to return by saying,:”Of course he’s a fantastic player,” he said.
“He keeps contact with all the people here that worked here in the past.”
