Janssen snubs PSG for Spurs move

French newspaper L’Equipe understand Vincent Janssen has rejected a move to PSG as he is holding out for Tottenham Hotspur.

Janssen has been heavily linked with a move to White Hart Lane over the last couple of months and publicly expressed his frustration at AZ Alkmaar’s rejection of a bid in the region of £11million while the Dutch club were holding out for near to £17million.

Striker Janssen, the top scorer in the Eredivisie last season with 27 goals, was given permission to spend two days in London early in June and visited the club’s training ground, meeting manager Mauricio Pochettino and discussing his plans for the future.

German side Wolfsburg have also been in touch with AZ over a potential deal, and Janssen wants his situation resolved as soon as possible as he sets his heart on a move to the Premier League with Tottenham. There are plenty of William Hill promo codes offering great odds on Janssen being our top scorer this season.
