Kane’s feet firmly on the ground

Harry Kane  spoke to The Sun after filming a Sky Sports ad.
The article says It’s the morning after we humbled Real Madrid 3-1 in the Champions League but the article says for Harry it’s just another normal day.

Kane told The Sun: “People expect you to beat Real Madrid and go out partying and celebrate. But you go home, rest up, and you get ready for Sunday.

He adds: “I didn’t get to sleep until 3 or 4am with all the adrenalin and everything. I was watching World Series baseball.
“This morning I spent some time with my daughter, had breakfast, eggs avocado and a bit of brown toast, cup of tea, then I came here.

“I’ll go home now, walk the dogs and chill with the little one. It’s important to get some family time.”

The article continues to question Kane’s low key celebrations, that you’ve just beaten the European Champions and could’ve beaten them by far more. Kane added: “It shows how far we’ve come. Last year when you look at the group we had, we should have easily got through. This year, everyone thought we’d be out, but four games in and we’ve qualified.

Kane continued: “We’ve just got to turn that into trophies now. People will fear us a bit more but to go far in the Champions League you have to beat these teams over and over, home and away, so let’s see what we can do.”

The article then talks cars with the England hero. Harry’s got three apparently — a Jaguar F-Pace, Range Rover Autobiography and Bentley Supersports — cars all made in England and the author asks Coincidence? Harry said:

“Just to be associated with that British stamp is something that I’m proud of. I pretty much love that Jag. It’s not too big, not too small, it fits our little daughter and the dogs. It’s a family car with a sporty edge. It’s not like you’re embarrassed to drive it as a dad. You’re happy to drive it. It looks nice and it’s not too expensive. It’s been great for me so far.”

The article then refers to the Range Rover as his “lounge on wheels”, right? Kane said:”Exactly. After a game or training, you just want to get in a nice car and chill. We were in a bit of traffic coming home from Wembley the other day, so I thought I’d give myself a bit of back massage. It was all right to be fair.

Kane added: “I had a Range Rover Sport before that. Loved that. I just wanted the bigger version. And I’ve just bought a Bentley Supersports. I thought I’d treat myself to a sports car. I was looking at most of them really, but because I play golf I wanted something with a bit of room, nothing too low, something a bit different.

Kane is then asked if he has ever had any “daft prangs”? he replied: “On the day of my first Premier League start for Spurs, I crashed in the car park at Costco. I knew I was starting and I was nervous and I wanted to get out of the house. So I took the missus to Costco and did a bit of shopping.

“You know what those places are like, manic, cars everywhere, and it was raining. I was reversing out just as someone was coming out of the space behind me and we bumped. That was embarrassing. But we went on to beat Sunderland 5-1 that night and I scored. It was a fantastic night. The day didn’t start so well but it’s one I’ll always remember.”

The article concludes noticing it’s been a very good year for the England striker, (England captain. Two x Premier League Golden Boot winner. More goals than Ronaldo this year. And a model pro off the pitch) and asks him How will he top that in 2018?
Kane replies “Win the World Cup, win the Champions League, you never know. That would be a good year.”
