Lloris likely to miss Champions League opener

Tottenham Hotspur are to be without the services of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for the next four weeks after picking up a hamstring injury.

The club captain was forced off during the first half of the 1-1 draw at Everton on Saturday and has to be replaced by Michel Vorm.

Worryingly Lloris could be missing for our opening Champions League fixture. The question is, will Pochettino move to bring in another keeper or will he have the confidence in Vorm to step up?

What games is Hugo likely to miss?

Sat 20th August – Palace (Home)
Sat 27th August – Liverpool (Home)
Sat 10th September – Stoke (Away)
Tue/Wed 13th or 14th September – Champions League Match Day 1
Sun 18th September – Sunderland (Home)

A club statement read: “Following further assessment and scans of the left hamstring injury sustained by Hugo Lloris in the 1-1 draw at Everton on Saturday, we can confirm he is expected to be out of action for around four weeks.”
