Poch blasts crazy internatonal break

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has criticised the “crazy” international break that has interrupted the Premier League after only three matches.

Our next Premier League match takes place away to Stoke City on September 10th due to World Cup qualifying matches taking place before then.

It has only been a couple of months since the end of Euro 2016 and Pochettino has questioned the logic of another international break taking place so soon.  Bet Hut thinks that Spurs can finish in the top four for a second season in a row.

Tottenham players are now set jet off all over the world, such as the likes of Erik Lamela who has already boarded a flight to Argentina.

“It’s crazy that we stop again in the Premier League. It’s not a complaint….it’s just about our players. We have 75 per cent of our squad involved,” Pochettino said.

“It’s not a perfect break because all of the international players are involved in their international teams. We need time, a few months to get all the players at the same level.”
