Poch: I’m at a top club and I’m going nowhere

Mauricio Pochettino says he is happy at Tottenham following Argentina link

In previous seasons, we’ve been biting our fingernails at the prospect of our star players departing from Tottenham and heading to new destinations. However, this summmer has a different feel about it with all our star players settled and the same can be said for our manager.

Mauricio Pochettino has publically stated that he is happy to remain as Tottenham Hotspur boss after speculation increased about his potential future at White Hart Lane following the departure of Gerardo Martino as Argentina boss.

Pochettino, a former Argentine international was apparently on the shortlist for the vacant job but has now set the record straight about where he will be this season.

“I think the speculation is normal because I am an Argentinian coach at a top club in England,” Pochettino, currently in Australia on Tottenham’s pre-season tour, was quoted as saying in several national newspapers.

“There are a lot of rumours that appear in the media but I am happy at Tottenham and for that reason, this is not the right moment.”
